You’re Great! Don’t Believe It? Read This…

In the previous blog post, Identity Theft, I shared how living without knowing your personal purpose on the planet is the most atrocious form of identity theft.

To not know your purpose, is to be robbed of your personal greatness.

Our purpose defines who we are and what we should be offering the world.

Purpose provides the template for being, creating and doing our work.
Purpose is not a job.
Purpose is not a title.

Those are just things you’ve acquired by DOING something.

Never confuse who you are, with what you do and what you have.

Your purpose is your identity.

Your purpose is who you should BE!
Your purpose connects you to your internal seed of greatness.

Knowing your purpose allows you to know and name your soul.

In this post, I want to focus on those of us who know our purpose on the planet but have failed to fully pursue being who we know ourselves to be.

So many of us have yet to begin doing the work we know we were meant to do.

Purpose creates and defines our personal identity…only if we believe that it does.

For example if you know that your purpose, but you doubt that who you are, what you can create and/or say will make a difference; it won’t.

We cannot be our purpose while questioning that purpose.

The best way to miss a shot, is to doubt you can make the shot before you take it. Most of us will not take the shot we believe we’ll miss.

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” ~ Wayne Gretzky

Knowing your purpose and having a sense of your greatness, while allowing fear and the lack of self-confidence to separate you from BEING your purpose is the worse kind of torture.

Purpose provides you an identity if you believe.
No faith in your purpose; no identity.

What if raindrops could doubt their purpose?
What if raindrops could doubt that they contain the greatness and power of the ocean?

With this type of disbelief, the raindrops would cease to exist.
What is an ocean but an assortment of limitless raindrops.
Raindrops have a purpose and they diligently serve that purpose making each raindrop powerful and great.

Want to debate this truth?

Don’t drink the raindrops (water) anymore and watch how the absence of their individual power completely deplete and minimize your power.

So again, what if raindrops could doubt their purpose?
What if raindrops could doubt that they contain the greatness and power of the ocean?

We’d all be in trouble.
We need raindrops to serve their purpose to sustain our lives.

Who’s in trouble because you doubt your purpose, power and greatness?

Who needs you to live your purpose and be your personal greatness on this planet so that they aren’t depleted and powerless?

My wife often reminds me that, “Fear is selfish.”

Fear is selfish because it keeps us consumed with thoughts of what might happen, could happen, or potentially hurt, versus being focused on our purpose to positively change and impact other people’s lives no matter what!

What you have to offer matters!
Knowing your purpose matters!
Having the faith to BE and live your purpose, matters even more!

We have greatness with us!
We have greatness with us!

What steps do you need to take to increase your self-confidence?
What steps do you need to take to continue to solidify your faith?

Consider that you could just choose confidence and faith as the modes in which you will operate from this day forward.

Life is about constantly finding ourselves and transforming into the person we found.
Consider transforming into your purpose.

We need you!
The world needs you!

There’s a forest in the acorn.
What’s in you?

The answer is GREATNESS!

Let me know how I can help you find your greatness, and remember to stay inspired; it’s a lifestyle choice!
